What is Solo Style®?

Solo Style® Dance is a dance class program that teaches people, young and old, about a variety of different dance types - including Latin, Ballroom, Street, Swing and Showdance - all in one class. Dancers learn different styles and dance to different types of music every single week.

Solo Style® Dance classes are taught by only qualified instructors, all chosen and trained by the Solo Style® Development Team, to ensure that all attendees are getting the best instruction.

Classes run weekly in many different locations throughout the UK and are set to grow over the coming months. Classes average an hour in length and dances will build up a knowledge of all dance forms.

Classes can transfer dancers into competitions ran by World Dance Masters. Every Solo Style® instructor is a seasoned competitor, and most are World Champions of Solo Style® Dance. They will pass their experience onto all of their class members, resulting in the potential of becoming a UK, European or World Champion themselves.

The Most Versatile Dance Classes in the World

Solo Style® dance classes are by far the most versatile that any dancer can experience. By training in a variety of different disciplines, individuals will create a strong backbone for a future in dance. It is widely accepted that those who train in a variety of different forms of dance benefit from increased versatility and therefore better career prospects in the future.

Many Solo Style® dancers have gone on to have incredible and long-lasting careers, travelling the world and even becoming multiple World Champion title holders. In fact, a dancer who trains and competes solo style has a higher future employment rate than a dancer who trains solely in one discipline.

Some successes from solo style include:

  • Principle dancer for the National Dance Company of Wales.
  • Stars of Strictly Dance Fever & Strictly Come Dancing.
  • Backing dancers for major artists such as Kylie Mingoue, Take That & Lady GaGa.
